The Retrograde Super Ten - Terms & Conditions
1. The Promoter & The Beneficiary
The Promoter: This competition is operated and promoted by The Retrograde ("The Promoter"). The competition is hosted via www.superten.co.uk.
The Beneficiary: 25% of all net income generated from entry fees will be donated directly to No Knockout CIC to support youth access to Sport and The Arts.
This promotion operates as a free prize draw with a paid entry route, operating in compliance with the UK Gambling Act 2005.
2. Eligibility & Entry Mechanics
This competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 and over.
Entrants may submit up to a maximum of 10 prediction lines per weekly competition round.
Paid Entry Route: Entries can be submitted online at www.superten.co.uk for an entry fee of £1 per line.
Free Entry Route: Entrants may participate for free by sending their predictions via standard 1st or 2nd class post. Entries must be sent to: The Retrograde, 4-10 Chapel Street, Thatcham, RG18 4QL.
Free entries must include the entrant’s Full Name, Address, Date of Birth, Email Address, the exact minute selected for the tie-breaker, and clearly state their 10 match predictions.
Only one entry line is permitted per envelope.
Postal entries as well as digital online entries must be entered and/or physically arrive at the stated address before 1 minute before the first match of each round kicks off on the Saturday of the relevant match week. Late entries will not be included in the draw. Free entries are entered into the draw pool with the exact same chance of winning as paid entries.
3. The Prize & The Rollover Jackpot
The objective of The Retrograde Super Ten is to correctly predict the final outcome (Home Win, Draw, or Away Win) of all 10 featured matches.
The starting Jackpot value will be explicitly advertised prior to the opening of the weekly competition round.
If no entrant successfully predicts 10 out of 10 correct outcomes, the Jackpot will not be awarded. 50% of the net turnover from that week will be allocated towards jackpots, including rolling over into the following week's competition.
4. Match Rules & Abandonments
In the event that any of the 10 featured matches do not proceed as scheduled, the following rules apply:
Abandoned During Play: If a match kicks off but is abandoned before the final whistle, the official score at the exact point of abandonment will stand as the final result for the purposes of this competition.
Abandoned/Postponed Before Kick-Off: If a match is cancelled, postponed, or abandoned ahead of its scheduled start time, the result for the purposes of this competition will automatically be recorded as a Draw.
5. Tie-Breaker Mechanics
All entrants must submit a "Tie-Breaker Minute" alongside their match predictions. This is the entrant's prediction of the exact minute the first goal will be scored across all 10 featured matches.
In the event that two or more entrants successfully predict 10 out of 10 match outcomes, the Tie-Breaker Minute will be used to determine a single winner.
The winner will be the tied entrant whose predicted minute is closest to the actual minute of the first goal scored (calculated as the absolute difference, whether over or under the actual minute).
If two or more entrants remain perfectly tied after the minute difference is calculated, the cash Jackpot will be split equally among those tied entrants.
6. Winner Notification & Data Protection
Winners will be contacted via the email address provided at the time of entry within 48 hours of the final scheduled match concluding.
Entrant data will be processed solely for the administration of this competition and in accordance with UK GDPR. No personal data will be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
