About Super Ten

Super Ten is a weekly football prediction game run by The Retrograde in Thatcham, West Berkshire. Players predict the result of 10 featured matches (Home Win, Draw or Away Win), and anyone who gets all 10 right wins the jackpot. A quarter of the net income goes to No Knockout CIC, a local community interest company that helps young people get into sport and the arts.

Who runs Super Ten?

Super Ten is operated and promoted by The Retrograde, 4-10 Chapel Street, Thatcham, RG18 4QL. It runs as a free prize draw with a paid entry route, under the UK Gambling Act 2005. You can find our full rules on the Terms & Conditions page.

Why we started it

We wanted to give local football fans a fun way to test their knowledge every weekend, and to make sure that fun gives something back. Every £1 entry helps build the weekly jackpot and directly funds kit, club memberships and travel for young people in Thatcham and West Berkshire through No Knockout CIC.

How it works in brief

Pick Home Win, Draw or Away Win for each of the 10 featured fixtures.
Choose a tie-breaker minute: your guess for when the first goal will be scored across all 10 matches.
Enter online for £1 per line (up to 10 lines a week), or enter free by post.
Get 10 out of 10 to win. If nobody does, the jackpot rolls over to the next week.

Full step-by-step instructions are on the How to Play page, and answers to common questions are on our FAQ page.

Where Does the Money Go?

We believe in complete transparency. The Retrograde Super Ten isn't just about the thrill of the weekend fixtures—it is built from the ground up to give back to the Thatcham and West Berkshire community.

After the standard payment processing fees are cleared, every single penny generated by the game is split exactly like this:

50% — The Prize Pot: Half of all net funds go directly into funding the weekly jackpots and building those massive rollovers. This is what makes the game exciting and gives you the chance to win big.

25% — The Good Cause: A quarter of the net funds is donated directly to No Knockout CIC. This money is actively used right here in our community to fund youth access to Sport and The Arts—paying for kit, covering club memberships, and funding travel so local kids never have to miss out on playing the sports they love.

25% — Platform & Operations: The final quarter keeps the lights on. This covers the essential costs of running the platform, website hosting, and the marketing needed to keep the prize pot growing week after week.

The Bottom Line: By playing, 75% of the net funds go directly back to the community—either straight into a winning player's pocket, or straight to local kids.
